Types of Program

What type of study abroad program is the best fit for you?

Presbyterian College has a variety of study abroad programs opportunities available. These programs are classified as: Semester or Short-Term.

Semester Programs

A Semester program means PC has established an exchange partnership with a university, and students are able to take courses at that institution for the period of a semester or academic year.

Please note that once a program is full it will be closed and will no longer be listed in the AbroadOffice site.

Short-Term Programs

Short-term programs are usually during the summer months, maymester, or around Spring Break. A Maymester program is led by two PC faculty members. These programs typically travel in the month of May, or during spring break. Your group will likely consist of fellow PC students, and you will be taught by PC faculty. Some students also have the option to get involved in internships abroad or volunteer programs abroad. The length of these programs is typically between 4-12 weeks.
