Financial Aid & Scholarships

Meet with a Financial Aid Representative to discuss the financial aid implications of studying abroad. PC aid may only be applied to Exchange Programs. Be sure to learn the financial logistics involved.

If you want to study abroad but are unsure how to afford the cost of travel, you may be applicable for many scholarships and fellowships that can help make your semester or year abroad an affordable reality.

National Scholarships

As you start thinking about studying abroad, the next step is to consider the various scholarships that are available to fund your experience. With a quick google search, you can also find that most general scholarships will fund your study abroad experience. So be sure to apply for scholarships early.

Before applying for scholarships, you need to know which ones you're eligible for. Below, you will find a list of scholarship programs and the links to their application. Review the instructions, deadlines, and application material carefully to increase your competitiveness.

Rotary Foundation Global Scholarship Grants – Deadline: Varies, Contact Local Chapter (Clinton or Laurens)

Corrine Jeannine Schillings Foundation -Girl Scouts (Opens October 15) – Deadline: December 15, 2019

Freeman Asia Scholarship Deadline: will be updated in early 2021. 2020 programs are closed. 

Critical Language Scholarship Deadline: November 17, 2020

Allianz Global Assistance Scholarship Deadline: December 31, 2020

TORTUGA STUDY ABROAD SCHOLARSHIP Deadline: November 15, 2020

Fund For Education Abroad (FEA) Scholarship Deadline: September 16, 2020 (for spring semester) 

Boren Scholarships  Deadline: February 2021 (for scholarship)  January 2021 (for fellowship)
