City of Carmarthen

Carmarthen, a community in the southwestern county of Carmarthenshire, Wales, is one of the oldest towns in Wales. The university’s website has this to say about Carmarthen: “The campus is located on the outskirts of Carmarthen, the commercial centre for a large and thriving area. It is a busy market town with a good mix of traditional and modern shops, excellent leisure facilities and nightlife. Development plans for the town and its environs will bring other big-name stores and leisure attractions into the area.” The town has many local tourist attractions and a great railway system with trains that go directly to London and other major areas.

City of Lampeter

Lampeter is the smallest university town in southwest Wales, with a population of just under 3,000 people. Surrounded by beautiful landscape, the Lampeter campus is ideal for students who want to live in a quieter environment than Carmarthen. Bus services run daily throughout the town to provide public transportation for university students.
