Fontys International Business School is a small university located in the vibrant city of Venlo in the south of the Netherlands on the border to Germany. The city whose first documentary evidence dates back to the 11th century is divided into five districts: Venlo, Belfeld, Blerick, Tegelen and Arcen. Nowadays, venlo has more than 100,000 inhabitants making it a large city. Venlo's city centre is characterized by many beautiful and historic buildings that stand as reminders of the predominant centuries-old tradition. Here, a vibrant, beautiful and modern city has developed around this historic centre attracting many locals and tourists through its multiple shops, restaurants, cafes and leisure activities. A combination of quiet residential districts, nice public parks and the wide choice of shopping facilities make Venlo an attractive and welcoming city.

Fontys is one of the major Dutch universities of applied sciences and one of the largest educational institutions in the Netherlands. Within Fontys study programs, students can work with people from all over the world in small classes or groups. Currently, Fontys International Campus Venlo is home to over 4,000 students of whom 70 percent are from abroad and come from over 40 different countries (the majority being from Germany).

Fontys offer business classes in the fields of International Marketing, International Business Economics, International Business and Management Studies, and International Fresh Business Management. There courses are all offered in English.
