Program Description

Institution

“At the University of Navarra we offer 42 undergraduate degree programs and more than 300 graduate programs in ten principal Schools, two Superior Technical Schools, a Business School (the IESE), two University Schools, a School of Secretarial Studies (ISSA) and other centers and institutions.

The University of Navarra was founded in 1952 by St. Josemaría Escrivá de Balaguer, who summarized the mission of the University with these works: ‘The University of Navarra strives to make present in all its activities the awareness of the idea that work is a testimony of the supremacy of the human being over the material world, a means of personal development, a bond between people and a fundamental way of contributing to the progress of humankind.’”

Program in Brief

The “Welcoming Week” is a series of days at the beginning of each semester with a variation of activities for new international students.

During these days you will come to know the University of Navarra better as well as meet other new and current students. We will have various sessions demonstrating different parts of the University of Navarra including: The university libraries, Study Rooms, Sporting facilities, Computer labs, etc. We also help you with the different aspects of life in a new country such as: How to open a bank account, getting a cellular phone, where to shop, etc.

What is the mentoring program?
This is a program that matches new international students with current students of the University of Navarra. The mentor is there to help you settle in during your first weeks in Pamplona. With this program you can get first hand advice for students, some of whom are international students and have been in your position. You will also be in contact with them before arriving, so any question that you may have will be answered before you leave your country.

The majority of students planning on studying abroad at the University of Navarra will be taking language courses.
